Hotel Lennox gives you a wonderful snapshot of life in Paris. Boutique, personable and much more than you ever expected!
The staff and location of the hotel is great, the breakfast is very good.
The hotel is going through renovation now, but the rooms aren't affected yet. And the room we stayed in really needs one.
A great location . St Germain is a great central location, good food and easy access by bus or train to most of Paris. Check out other hotels in the area.
A great location but the staff totally let the place down. The reception staff couldn't have been more unfriendly if they tried. On arrival the personal call the reception staff was taking was far more important than booking us in - 15 minutes without an acknowledgment and then only when someone else asked did he bother to hold the call and basically throw us the key. No hello - welcome - no information in the room re faciilities and when we asked, we were told it was there. It was not! But we gave up the fight. Room has no fridge. Made a booking for taxi and told they would give us change later when they had it - no change given until we demanded it. Left a very bad feeling about trust with the staff. If you would like assistance with your stay in Paris - don"t stay here. Internet good when it works but don't rely on it - we needed to urgently use the service and we were basically it will work tomorrow.
Hotel is very well situated in Paris close to many tourist sites and the excellent dining and shopping of the arty St Germain area. Room was well appointed comfortable and the staff very helpful. The breakfast (extra cost) options were reasonable and convenient.
The hand held shower in the bath was located on the wall at a very low level. For those used to an overhead shower head it made showering a little awkward. May have just been our room.
Location, hotel ambiance.
Intermittent internet connection due to service provider failings. Staff were very attentive to the problem in pressuring the ISP.
location & bedding. free wifi throughout was really handy
room v small. ( and i had the superior- at least hat is what i paid for )i dont know how two people would have fitted in to the room. also v poor lighting- no central light& v poor tv reception
The location of the hotel was fantastic. The bar was comfortable and very stylish with its Art Deco Design.
The staff were curt and grudgingly helpful.
This is my second stay here at Hotel Lenox and will probably be my hotel the next trip to Paris! The location is excellent in a quiet area, with many cafes, bakeries, and restaurants just around the corner, plus some great shopping. Walking distance to the Louvre and Orsay museums, with a metro stop just a few blocks away to get anywhere in the city. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly as well, really like this hotel!
It is a bit pricey, even more so during the holidays but in my opinion worth the money. We had some very loud neighbors this trip, and learned that the walls are pretty thin, which was not a problem on my first stay. Our bathroom could have used some touch ups as well.
The location was fantastic for the cost of the room per night. The Jazz / Blues bar was very relaxing.
We stayed in a superior room and though it was very small.
This hotel has just had an extensive makeover and it shows. The decor and ambience are excellent. The room was first class and comfortable and the staff were polite and helpful.
the hotel location was perfect as we like to walk along the river, window shop the streets and people watch from the cafes.
the room was pleasant but a second mirror would have been nice to have.
Rooms were tiny!!! We had a suite booked only to find that they took the liberty of changing us to a Deluxe Room. Still trying to figure out what as deluxe about it!
Very comfortable clean rooms with excellent air conditioning!! The location of the hotel was very good, close to the metro, many cafes, and great shopping. The free internet use in the lobby was really a nice touch and the staff were very friendly. Would stay here again!
Hotel has an excellent location in a quiet residential area, hotel staff is very friendly and professional. There is a computer with free internet access in the lobby.
The only thing I didn't like that there is no iron in the room.
The Hotel Lenox is charming and comfortable in a superb location - it is on a quiet street just a few blocks from Blvd St Germain and the Musee d'Orsay. Although the rooms are typically small, they are well appointed and have all the necessities. The reception area is cozy and a great place to relax and read. There is a computer & printer in the reception area that is handy for checking email or getting on the internet The bar area is intimate and trendy - I preferred taking breakfast in the bar rather than the buffet room downstairs. The reception & bar staff speak excellent English and are generally friendly and helpful. I stayed at the hotel twice in 2011 and had good experiences both times.
The hotel staff are not always consistent. It depends who is on duty. Hence my rating of "Fair".
